The hotel itself was okay. The building is a bit old, and the water tank in the bathroom was noisy and it was hard to adjust the room temperature.The food selection for breakfast was limited, compared to other La Quinta Inns I have stayed at, including one in Westport. My biggest problem was the shuttle service. I had to call twice from the airport, and ended up waiting for 50 minutes. The next time, I will choose a different hotel even if that costs a bit more.

My room was VERY nice, clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. Breakfast was good as well (plus it was ready before 6:00 AM)...but the best part was the feeling of security at leaving our car parked for over a week under the lights, and in clear view of the lobby. We will certainly use this hotel again in the future. They are doing a serious update and doing it right! I only questioned the final touches by the workmen in the bathroom...they skipped doing the finer touches around the beautifully updated shower. Also, the shuttle was not available when we called, but they sent a taxi that showed up immediately at the airport!

Although the hotel was undergoing remodeling, it was clean and did not cause hardships. The suttle driver was not available in the morning but the hotel called us a cab to get to the airport and covered the cab fare. Very nice service! Upon arrival on our return, the shuttle was there within 10 minutes of us calling for it.

I checked in went to my first room. It wasn't ready. Went back downstairs. Moved to my second room. It wasn't ready. Tried calling guest services no answer because she was knocking at the door to move me again. Shuttle didn't run when needed. Had to pay for a taxi to the airport.
